It’s still really fun as a beyblade fan but I can’t give it anything over a 7/10 As much as I love this show I have to admit that this first season even with all of the nostalgia is quite bad. As it’s own stand alone product it’s fine but I can’t help but compare it to the later seasons. Art wise, sound wise, story wise and definitely hype wise the next seasons out do this season exponentially. I still love this season don’t get me wrong but every way possible the latter seasons are better. This first season is definitely needed world building wise (yes I actually just said that about beyblade) but compared to seasons 2 and 3 it’s quite boring. This match is so cool, but it’s not that good compared to later seasons. The absolute most hype is the battle that spans both episode 59 and 51, the rematch of Ryuga Vs Ginga.

Battle bladers is full of sick bey matches that re watching makes me feel like a child again. What I remember this show for and where it actually finally gets into the beat part is episode 40, the start of battle bladers. Ryuga is always paired with such sick music for a kids show, beyblade unironically has such a good ost. Ryuga, the man who aided in killing Ginga’s father, the man with the only known left spinning bey. Where we finally meet the best character in this show both power wise and coolness wise. The show finally gets a little better in episode 13. But I don’t remember beyblade for all the setup they do in these first 40 som odd episodes, to be fair. The first few episodes are kind of boring, i said all of this to say that this season sets up the world an unreasonable but very good and thorough amount for a kids show. Setting the possibility to the sky when it comes to strength. We meet him by seeing Doji beat Kyouya, a very strong blader. Episode 3 is spent learning even more characters, we learn Doji (a very important character for this series) and more. Despite it being close we can’t have our main character losing this fast so he narrowly win. But the very next episode he goes toe to toe with the face bladers leader and one of the best characters in the show, Kyouya Tategami. Ginga uses his Pegasus to take out over 100 bladers at once. We then spend the next few episodes setting up the world and the power levels for most bladers. We then learn that Ginga has over 30,000 Beypoints which I guess is a lot. The face hunters then try 5 on 1 and all lose almost instantaneously. That introduces us to our main character for all three seasons and the mysterious man from earlier, Ginga Hagane. Right before Benkai delivers his final attack a bey swoops out of no where taking Benkai out in one hit. Face Hunters look for weak-ish bladers who have accumulated a lot of bey points, so they can steal them. We learn that they are what’s known as face hunters and want to battle Kenta to take his bey points. Kenta then on his way home runs into 3 grown men. This whole time it keeps flashing to this mysterious character we get to know later. He advances to the third round and won some Bey-Points in doing so. Metal Fusion episode 1 starts of following two kids bey battling in a official WBBA (World Beyblade association) The Winer Is A Kid Named Kenta. Today I’m talking about the first and arguably weakest of the 3 These 3 seasons are “Metal Fusion” “Metal Masters” and “Metal Fury” and I know it’s not as good as my actual rating but this one is just my nostalgia show.

When I was just a we young lad Netflix owned like every IP, that included the goat of kids anime, beyblade. Every season of this show has such memorable moments and episodes. Beyblade did more work than my parents in my childhood bro.
